Huddersfield's newest vocal ensemble with a 75 year heritage
We are Huddersfield Men's Voices, a four-part lower voice vocal ensemble with its original roots as Gledholt Male Voice Choir (GMVC). We sing together every Tuesday evening from 7:30pm to 9:30pm at Lindley Methodist Church Centre in Huddersfield.
We have an ever evolving repertoire-fun and engaging material as well as more traditional music. This includes audience favourites from popular musicals and operas, and an ever increasing number of popular arrangements, as well as songs from the traditional male voice choir repertoire. Our aim is to showcase our talent as singers to an ever widening audience with entertaining and polished performances.
Our concert schedule keeps us busy in and around Huddersfield, with an eye very much on community engagement. We hope that our new image makes us more relevant in terms of music making and being part of the rich Huddersfield musical landscape.

Come and join us
We are always looking for new members to enjoy the wonderful benefits of singing. No prior experience of singing nor ability to read music is necessary.
If you are interested in joining, you are welcome to come along to one of our rehearsals. After a few weeks, you will undertake a short voice test to determine which section your voice suits best.
Rehearsals take place at Lindley Methodist Church every Tuesday from 7:30pm - 9:30pm.
We have completely “open rehearsals” so feel free simply to drop in and meet us, or if you’d like to make contact beforehand, simply get in touch with us.
